OUR HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

Rooftop BBQ started in 2017 as a Sunday seafood grill popup event hosted at 12 Decades Art Hotel in the heart of Johannesburg. In 2018, Rooftop BBQ officially opened its doors as a licensed restaurant at Citilec Rooftop in Maboneng.

Since then the brand has established additional Durban branch in 2019 and Sandton branch in 2020.

The Rooftop BBQ experience is designed to engage all the senses through carefully selected scenic rooftop locations, an exquisite bbq menu, bespoke cocktails and music.
